How do i stop programs from starting when i turn on my computer?

Click on your start menu

then go to search bar and type " msconfig " ( if your useing windows xp, you go on " run" and hit enter

Then go to the startup tab, and all you do is uncheck the boxes u wish to stop start up, and when you're done,

hit apply.

then restart =) and your done
